What this note covers
This is a draft description of the CardMania development preview, not a final production privacy notice. Operator details, retention periods, deployment-specific providers and a working privacy contact must be confirmed before a public launch.
What your browser remembers
Language and large-card preferences are saved in local storage when your browser allows it. The guest session, including its access token and display name, is held in session storage for the browser tab. Guest sessions can expire. These are functional settings, not a permanent account.
When you use a connected service
Creating a guest sends a display name and confirmation that you are at least 16 to the game service. Joining tables and playing sends requests needed for that game. Community features, when connected, may store profile choices, memberships, event responses and content you explicitly submit. Do not put sensitive personal information in a display name or public content.
Private cards and diagnostics
The server manages the complete game state and should provide only the view appropriate to your seat. The support report builder uses an explicit diagnostic allowlist: language, large-card preference, viewport, online status and capture time. It does not automatically attach session tokens, hands, invite codes or shuffle seeds. Text you type into a report is included, so review it yourself.
Your choices in this preview
You can change language and card-size preferences in Your corner, end a guest session, or use your browser’s controls to clear site storage. Clearing browser storage does not by itself delete records already held by a connected service. A verified privacy contact and production data-request process are not yet configured.
